Day 55
This is Larry. The fog hung around all morning
and into the early afternoon. My son and
his family and I went down to the cove and played at low tide. The little ones got into the water but it is
just too cold for me. They found a lot
of sea glass and I took the grandbabies out in the dingy. We rowed around the cove and finally went to
the buoy and got the lobster. Yes, we
are having lobster for dinner.
With
T’Ann on shore I don’t have to cook two different meals for tonight (she can’t
eat lobster. Like I said, the fog
finally burned off and it was a wonderful afternoon of sun and fun with the
family. Around 5pm a family of four
arrived and wanted to see lighthouse. I
took them on a tour and they said of all the times they have been on Seguin,
this is the first time they had gone out on the catwalk.
We had lobster, mashed potatoes and corn on the
cob with chocolate pudding for dessert.
We ate out on the picnic table, watched the kids have fun with sparklers
and took pictures of them playing along with the sunset. Missing T’Ann and I know she is missing them
just as much. We will meet her in the
cove in the morning to get laundry,
groceries and water from the boat and get it up from the bottom of the hill to
the top.
Getting the kids to bed is a chore tonight,
nobody want to go to sleep. Wish I had
that much energy.
